The Dutch Masters, Treasures of the Tzars was the Hermitage Amsterdam’s most important exhibition of 2018.
After 350 years spent in the Hermitage St Petersburg, these masterpieces were returning home to Holland for the first time.
Playing on this we decided to tease our waiting public with just glimpses of the work and playful headlines.
We carried through the idea into online banners as well as videos on Facebook in which our audience could only watch Dutch celebrities reacting to a painting.
Our message was clear: you can only really see the work at the Hermitage, Amsterdam.
