Whenever the Classic is played, the rivalry between Amsterdam and Rotterdam peaks.
As sponsor of both teams adidas wanted to celebrate the Classic with the fans in a positive, respectful way.
So we pitched two popular comedians (and fans) against each other, sat back and let the rivalry do its work.
The resulting film was released through the club social channels two days before the game.
Viewed by 1.5 million fans in just 48 hours, their spontaneous reaction was that this is 'how football rivalry should be’.
