When Nissan became the UEFA Champions League football sponsor, they needed an idea that gave relevance to their line: ‘Innovation that excites’.

We developed their entire 360° global creative platform - ‘The Engineers of Excitement’,
including TV, break bumpers, print, outdoor, and the digital platform ‘Goal of the Week’.
The bumpers were so well received we were asked to create two 60" montages for TV, one of which aired before the final.

Break Bumpers

For our digital platform we developed an algorithm to find the real #genius of the UEFA Champions League each week.
It measures the excitement, the tension and the difficulty of the goals and from this the #genius ‘Goal of the week’ is calculated.

At the end of the season a special ‘genius of the season’ was calculated and awarded to the winner.
